China has nearly 200 million singles, according to data from the Ministry of Civil Affairs. The number of woman in China that are single by choice has increased significantly over the past few years.
The number of singles in China has increased from 6 percent of the population in 1990, to 14.6 percent in 2013.
Marriage is traditionally standard for most in Chinese, however China’s social system is changing. A number of singles in China have decided to put off marriage, while others are divorced.

Women in China are far smarter, far more funny and far better looking than the guys. The men just don't have anything going for them. I mean that beyond the gaofushuai bullshit too. Sitting around in your university classroom with a dumb look on your face isn't going to impress girls. Spending all night in a wangba leveling up your LoL characters aren't going to go in your favor. Peer pressuring girls into drinking as much as possible. Acting like a 15 year old when you're in your 20's, not that the girls are particularly mature. Throwing tantrums like a toddler when things don't go your way. Having a borderline gay relationship with your best friend and spending longer on your hair than a girl. All these things are not appealing qualities and unfortunately the average Chinese guy has a problem with a number of them. Heck Chinese men are more interested in foreign men than Chinese women are. Probably because they see foreign men and think it's their gateway to meeting girls instead of looking at them and seeing what they are doing differently that might attract women they see a short cut and jump on it. In typical Chinese style. If they can cheat at something they will!

Being single is not the same as being alone. You can be single and have a very fulfilling and happy life. You can be married and be very lonely due to incompatibility or other issues. Many people don't have the skills or patience required to be a good parent - which is the raison d'etre to getting married in China. Why force them to be married if it will make them unhappy and thereby increase the cycle of misery onto another generation?

Because they are mental sick peoples ! And because the men in special, do not take any action to fighting for their love , they just shut up their mouth in the front of parents ( parents who spoiled them ! and made them scaves !) and they only do what parents do ! This is the reason .... A Chinese man never fighting for his loved one, and he hurts so much a girl in this way... I hate this conception and men who accept be married by force of their parents.... Chinese are not brave due to their culture ... They think parents know better than them who is good or not and they can't say no to their parents. This happen also because they are spoiled kids and they have not any work at the basis of all what they have ! Everything is coming from their parnets who own them ! own their life and hapiness and everything including liberty ! And when they marry, Chinese men cheat and in their qq list(s) have hundreds of women .... This is a reason why Chinese women choice to be singles. Nobody need a man who have so many options open always ! No woman need this ! And also Chinese women are spoiled by their parnets, have everything they need , why should they marry when they can have any man when they want ? I know chinese women who pay younger men for sex and other services , just to make them "happy" for the moment or he is paid always by a such a woman who has money and 2-3 houses. So, what sense has the marriage in China then ???
