A number of European airlines have announced massive discounts and deals on flight tickets from Beijing and Shanghai to major European destinations.
German airline Lufthansa is offering 2-for-1 tickets for as low as 3800 RMB (exc. tax) from Shanghai and Beijing to Frankfurt from August 12 onwards. The promotion is to celebrate the maiden flight of the Lufthansa A380 and tickets are valid for departure from Nov 1, 2013 until March 31, 2014. For more info or to search for flights click here.
From Aug 8-31, Swissair is offering 3000 RMB economy tickets (exc. tax) for flights from Beijing and Shanghai to Zurich. These tickets are also valid for travel from Nov 1, 2013 until March 31, 2014. Book tickets here.
Finally, British Airways announced that return tickets as low as 2980 RMB (exc tax) from Shanghai are available if purchased via the airline’s official website before September 2. These tickets are valid for travel from October 5, 2013 to March 31, 2014. Click here to book.
