Yinchuan is the proud new home of a Metro supermarket (麦德龙). The international cash & carry giant, sells a wide range of imported groceries and products. Many products such as cheese, are sold in small individual packages or as large, bulk items. Open since December 22nd, Metro caters all the main hotels such as the Kempinski and other venues serving Western food.

Visitors must become members (registration is free of charge) before they can enter and purchase items. Student cards are accepted, as is proof of owning a business.
