First Hazardous Air Pollution Day Smothers Beijing and More Snow Expected

Beijing was smothered by the heaviest fog of the year and the first hazardous air pollution day in 2011 on February 21st. According to meteorologists, the fog will not pass off until tonight and cloudy weather is expected from Friday to Sunday. Highest temperatures are expected to reach5℃ while the lowest may drop to -5℃. There is also a strong possibility that the city will be affected by snow or rain this weekend.
