First English News Text Message Service Launched in South China

Shenzhen Daily and China Mobile jointly launched Shenzhen English-language Mobile News, a text messaging service providing information to expats living in Shenzhen. The news is sent via short message service (SMS), covering politics, society, finance, culture, entertainment and sports. China Mobile users can subscribe to the service by texting A to 106582586074. The fee is 5 RMB per month but a free trial period will be available from Nov. 1st to Dec. 31st. No fees will be incurred if you choose to unsubscribe after the trial period expires by texting QX to 106582586074.
