First class ticket prices for air travel are generally fixed. However, under the impact of the global financial crisis, some airlines have launched discounted first class tickets for the very first time.

For example, China Southern Airlines is offering discounts on more than forty first class flights this March, according to Guangzhou Daily. These cheaper tickets cover flights from Guangzhou to more than 20 cities, including Nanjing, Hangzhou, Ningbo, Wenzhou, Wuhan, Shenyang, Qingdao, Chengdu, Xi’an, Lanzhou and so on.

Passengers can get 33 percent off for some flights between March 1 and 31.
