Residents leaving Shanghai during the upcoming Qingming, or the Tomb-Sweeping Festival, will find the going easier this year.

More coach services are to be made available from Shanghai to neighboring provinces, the city's long-distance bus operator said.

The Sutong Bridge, which spans the Yangtze River, connecting Nantong and Changshu cities in Jiangsu Province, and the Hangzhou Bay Bridge, off the eastern coast of China, both opened last May, after last year's Qingming Festival.

From April 1, local travelers will also be able to book return tickets at local booths for trips between Shanghai and Wenzhou and Putuo Mountain in neighboring Zhejiang Province. Booking details are available at Chinese Website (www.ctnz.net).
