Explosion Kills 6, Injures 19 in Guangxi

A suspected gas explosion at a market place in Nanning, Guangxi on the evening of January 15 has left six dead and 19 injured.

The explosion occurred at around 21:30 and is believed to have been caused by a gas explosion. Three people died immediately at the scene while the other three died later from their injuries. Of the 19 injured, two were seriously injured while the other 17 were not.

The cause of the explosion is under investigations as authorities deal with the aftermath of the explosion.
