Are there still primitive humans living in the wild today?
During a conference on July 24 which discussed his new book, Chairman of the Xinjiang Ecological Society Yuan Guoying, estimated that there are around 500-1,000 such beings in the world living in the wild; 200-500 of which are in China.
Yuan stated that he believes these people reside in the wilds of Tibet and the Altun and Kunlun mountain ranges. Yuan went on to say that there were around seven or eight species of pre-humans present in such areas, and has even made a graph which depicts the apparent distribution of these beings across China. Yuan believes that the largest of the different species live in the Altun and Kunlun mountains, while the smallest reside in the mountains around Urumqi.

That's so awesome. There needs to be more research on this kinda thing. Without upsetting the primitives of course.
