European Christmas to Light up Shanghai

Shanghai Times Square and ten European consulates in Shanghai will jointly hold a grand lighting ceremony called “2009 European Fantasy Christmas” on the evening of Dec. 13th. Various events will also be held to celebrate the arrival of Christmas. Ten countries will be sharing their unique Christmas customs with the Shanghai residents, namely Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Denmark, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Holland, Poland and Portugal. The event will last for about one month.

2009 European Fatasy Garden Dec. 3rd, 2009 – Jan. 3rd, 2010 Openair square, 1F-6F
Italian Candle Art Exhibition Dec. 3rd, 2009 – Jan. 3rd, 2010 central hall on 1F
Denmark Fashion Design Exhibition Dec. 15th – Dec. 29th, central hall on 1F

Getting there: take subway line to and get off at Huangpi Nanlu Station, or take bus No. 42, 146, 864, 911, 926, 932, 945 to get there
