Pudong Public Security Bureau's entry-exit service opened on Jan. 12th 2009 on Zhangjiang Road near Guoshoujing Road.

Service Items:

Visa application for foreigners (working or residing in Pudong):

Visa L, Visa F, Residence Permit for 1-5years (first application and extension) and First Credentials of foreign children born in China.

Urgent Business handling process: A foreigner can go through the formalities of urgent business handling in Exit-Entry Administration, Shanghai Public Security Bureau (1500 Minsheng Lu) when applying for the Foreigner’s Visa or Residence Permit under any of the following circumstances:

1. A member of a foreign group in urgent need of returning to his/her country applies for separating from the group visa.

2. A foreign seaman in transit in Shanghai applies for a visa.

3. A foreigner who has lost his/her passport applies for a new visa.

4. A foreigner leaves China to hastening home for the funeral or seeing a critically ill person.

5. A foreigner is in urgent need of applying for the Foreigner’s Visa or Residence Permit under other special circumstances.
