On January 30, Chinese entrepreneur Chen Guangbiao was spotted in Beijing handing out cans of fresh air and recyclable bags to passersby. The cans were reported to contain fresh air all the way from Xinjiang and Taiwan, and from 08:00-18:00 Chen managed to hand out a total of 230,000 cans of fresh air and 23,000 bags across various districts of the city. The cans were also said to feature a cartoon face of Chen on the packaging, with the words “Chen Guangbiao, a good person” and “be a good-hearted person” written on the products. Each can, worth 5 RMB, is said provide a months’ worth of fresh air for users who simply wrap their mouths around the lid and take a deep breath. Chen began selling canned air in September last year, but struggled to find business, though has now made a name for himself in light of the recent abhorrent air quality. In the last ten days, Chen claims to have sold over 8 million cans of fresh air.

Wow - a month's worth of fresh air in an 8oz can! That's some amazing technology right there. I don't doubt it for a second.
