For the convenience of foreigners in Guangzhou, the Liwan District Government will finish the English version of the Xiguan Cuisine Map this year.
As the saying goes, “Eating in Guangzhou, Flavor in Xiguan”, as the Xiguan area is synonymous with Guangzhou catering culture. The map will introduce the special local flavor of Xiguan, for example, time-honored restaurants, traditional Cantonese foods, tasty snacks and dessert, etc. In addition, some famous sightseeing spots, bus and taxi routes and shopping locations in Xiguan will also be included in the new map.
With the help of Liwan District Government, drivers with the Baocheng Taxi Companies will in the future be available to act as Xiguan cuisine guides. Drivers will to be provided with special tour knowledge, spoken English, Guangzhou culture, etc. Foreigners will be able to get a free copy of the Xiguan Cuisine Map when they use the Baocheng taxis.
