Drunk, Jealous Ex Tries to Report Former Girlfriend for Prostitution
Apr 07, 2015 By eChinacities.com

In the middle of the night, an informant called the local Hangzhou police to report someone for prostitution. He gave the address and told them the alleged prostitute was in apartment 1703 now with a client. Officer Yang arrived at the scene and knocked at the door of room 1703 for a long time and no one answered. When he was there, the informant called the station again, saying that it was actually 1702 and that he used to live there. Ah, warning sign number one.

In the elevator on the way back down, Yang ran into a young men who smelled strongly of alcohol. Warning sign number two. The man told Yang that, “the women living next door to me often has men over, I often hear them having sex.” Yang and the young men returned to the 17th floor to check out 1702, but there was no answer there either.

At this point, the police back at the station were pretty fed up. It was almost two in the morning, and they had received six calls from the drunk man and one call complaining that the police were knocking on doors in the middle of the night. Officer Yang asked the man for identification and found out that his name was Gao and he actually lived in a different building in the neighborhood than he claimed.

“We were tricked!” Yang said to his colleagues. After nearly half an hour of searching for nonexistent prostitutes, he decided to call it a night. He also decided to bring the weird drunk “whistleblower,” back to the police station with him.

“Do you really live in that building? Who lives in 1702? Is there no actual prostitution?” Police questioned drunk Gao at the police station. Realizing he was in big trouble, Gao sobered up and told the truth. It turns out that the night before, he had called his ex-girlfriend and a man had answered the phone. He and his girlfriend had only been broken up for a month, so he did the logical thing and tried to have her arrested as a prostitute.

The ex-girlfriend, Xiao Feng, said that she was indeed with her new boyfriend and that she did not answer the door in the middle of the night because she was scared. She said her ex-boyfriend had been harassing her a lot by calling and then hanging up. Looks like she was right to break up with him in the first place!

There's way too much drinking in this country. It's like they are at the frat house. Besides that, those working women are nothing but trouble makers.

I agree. While it may not be considered decent, China doesn't really have any strong dominant religion to instantly condemn it. It would certainly do a lot to harmonize China but I fear the police would appear more useless than they do now... no more prostitution raids filling the papers showing how brave and noble these public protectors are...

Samsara

Chinese police have a vested interest in prostitution being illegal, in that they can extort brothels for free sex. The women at the places that don't cooperate are the ones who get filmed kneeling in their underwear while police stand there looking smug and authoritative, like their actions benefit society. Revolting pigs. --- Meanwhile the CCP act as "moral guardians" by prohibiting prostitution for normal citizens, while 100% of male CCP members continue to visit "spas", "saunas" and "massage parlours". --- That's "moral authority" in a nutshell.

I agree. From my personal experience, CCP members do exploit society the most and they do use hookers, KTV girls while having a xiao san on the side. The wife is usually left alone after they have the required male child. How do I know? My wife's family has CCP government members...

Police already collect 20 percent of their incomes to turn a blind eye. If you had a clue you would know this. Thanks for contributing
