Aug 17, 2010 By eChinacities.com

AmCham-China is delighted to announce that world renowned primatologist, ethologist, and anthropologist Dr. Jane Goodall  will share insights on how each one of us, both as individuals and as companies, can make a positive difference for our planet. She will speak about the Jane Goodall Institute and the Roots & Shoots program and how their work, with the support of CSR-minded companies and individuals, is improving the environment and promoting wildlife conservation.

Author and activist of international esteem, Dr. Jane Goodall is best known for her pioneering research in Chimpanzee behavior initiated in 1960 in Gombe National Park in Tanzania, marking the 50th year anniversary this year.  During her research she realized that, in order to save the Chimpanzees, she would have to educate the people around the world, especially the younger generation, to respect and conserve the Earth’s resources.
