After Akon’s on-again, off-again January concert in Beiing was postponed, we now officially have the new date for the performance. On June 28 the American hip hop megastar will light up the Worker’s Stadium for one night only.

Akon has had many run-ins with the law in his time, with one of his most controversial moments coming on a stage in Trinidad when he simulated sex with a 14 year old girl. So expect the metaphorical fireworks to be going off when the Lonely singer takes to the Gongti stage.

He might not be everyone’s cup of tea but you can’t deny that his songs are catchy and fun to party to as well.

When: June 28, 20:00
Where: Workers' Stadium
How much: 280, 380, 580, 880, 1,280, 1,680 RMB
