A doctor and a friend of a patient died on January 25 after falling 15 floors down an elevator shaft during a fight.
Two residents of Geyu Town in Henan, Li and Zhang were out drinking on the evening of January 24 when Zhang hurt his foot, so Li accompanied him to the hospital.
According to police announcements, while Zhang was on the 15th floor receiving treatment for his foot, Li began to get rowdy and abusive with staff. Dr Jiamou, alongside two others attempted to calm him and a tussle broke out.
During the struggle, the two smashed into the elevator door and broke through, falling 15 floors down the elevator shaft. Both were killed instantly.
The event led staff from the hospital to bring up their demands with the local government as medical staff in China increasingly faces aggressive and violent behavior from patients and their relatives.

They "smashed through" an elevator door? Either the Incredible Hulk got involved in this fight or someone should be checking into the quality of these "elevator doors".
