An agreement has been reached between the Shanghai Municipal Government and the Walt Disney Company on major issues regarding the construction of mainland China’s first Disneyland. The park is to be built in the southeast suburbs of Shanghai’s Pudong area, about 20 minutes from the city’s international airport. If all goes according to plan, the park will be the biggest Disneyland in the world.
