The fourth China (Daqing) Wetland Tourism Culture Festival had its opening ceremony on July 23rd, 2011 at the Daqing City Times Square. There are plenty of tours to take in Daqing, such as “petroleum cultural” tour, an eco-tour of the wetlands and a tour showcasing local customs. Daqing has been gaining prominence both at home and abroad at it has earned the titles of the “capital of green oil”, "city of a hundred of lakes” and “northern town of hot springs”.
