Dalian Sports Centre Chooses AEG-China to Manage 2013 National Games

John Cappo, President and CEO of AEG-China and Lin Hao, director of the Xinhai Bay development and construction management centre and person in charge of the construction of the Dalian Sports Centre, announced on January 6th that AEG-China and the Dalian Sports Centre had signed a 15-year cooperative agreement for AEG-China to oversee construction and manage the Sports Centre.

The complex is 10 km from downtown Dalian, and will feature an 18,000-seat main gymnasium that will play host to a series of events for the 2013 National Games. The venue will also include a 6,000-seat sports field, a 4,000 sq. m natatorium, a baseball field and an indoor tennis centre. AEG has already started overseeing the construction of the venue. The sports centre is expected be completed in June 2012.
