The 21st Dalian International Fashion Festival & International Carnival is ready to kick off with its opening ceremony and evening gala, themed “Dalian, We Dance for You.” A huge LED big screen (largest ever in Dalian) has been installed at Xinghai Square. The evening gala will be staged on the square on September 4th. Both the 21st Dalian International Fashion Festival (International Carnival Event) and the 2010 China (Dalian) International Garment & Textile Fair will be held from September 4th to the 8th. The theme for the events this year will revolve around “fashion and festival” and will include “Dalian Cup” junior fashion designer's competition, an exhibition of Asian folk costumes and clothing, a trade show for clothing goods manufactured in Dalian and outdoor parties hosted at different parks.

The 2010 China (Dalian) International Garment & Textile Fair will be split into two parts:an exhibit show and retail trade show. The events will be held at World Expo Center and Xinghai Convention and Exhibition Center respectively.

The Dalian International Fashion Festival will be holding different activities/outdoor parties at Dalian Workers' Park, Tiger Beach Seaworld Park, Forest Zoo, Yanwoling Wedding Themed Park, Fujiazhuang Park, Haizhiyun Park and at the Botanical Gardens.
