Dalian Airport to Increase Domestic Flights

Since the start of the Lunar New Year, Dalian Airport has added flights from Dalian to eight different cities including Tianjin and Wuhan. It has also increased flight traffic for popular travel routes to Beijing and Shanghai. In 2010, Dalian Airport wants to speed up its transformation from a medium-sized airport to a large accommodating hub for air travel. And as such, Dalian Airport has carried out hourly direct flights from Dalian to Beijing and Shanghai. They are also to add flights travelling to Hohhot, Zhengzhou, Changsha, Xi'an, Yinchuan, Lanzhou, Dunhuang and other second-tier cities. Dalian Airport hopes to accommodate over 28,000 passengers daily during peak travel seasons this year
