Crash Victim Follows Doctor’s Orders and Grows Nose on Forehead
Sep 26, 2013 By eChinacities.com

We recently reported about a Dutchman whose nose was the subject of a legal dispute, but the latest nose story is much sadder and bizarre. Xiao Lian, 22, from Fujian Province, got into a car crash last year, which led to an infection that corroded the cartilage in his nose.

Doctors were unable to fix the corroded cartilage and came up with the solution of growing him a brand new nose instead. According to reports, the new nose is grown by placing a skin tissue expander onto Xiaolian's forehead, cutting it into the shape of a nose and planting a cartilage taken from his ribs.

The good news is that Xiao Lian only has to endure a few more days with the forehead nose before surgeons transplant it to its proper location. This is reportedly the first successful case of a nose transplant in China and surgeons are being praised for having skills of an “international standard”.

I've stayed long enough in China to Believe that it's true... Nothing surprise me anymore, from eating dogs, American surrogacy, masking lamb meat with fox/cricket meat... It's disgusting...
