The Guangzhou Metro Company announced on February 19th that Metro Line 6 has successfully linked up the right line tunnel from the Yide Road Station to the Cultural Park Station creating several records in China. Earlier before this, the left line tunnel of the Dongshankou Station of Metro Line 6 was also linked up.
This section created five records for the entire line. It is known that the ground buildings that this section ran through were the densest and shabbiest, including the nearly 100,000-square-meters of crowded buildings built before 1949, which crossed the piles of the Renmin Bridge and No. 9 Engineering Tunnel. In addition, it was announced that the left line tunnel of Dongshankou Station of Metro Line 6 has also recently been linked up.
