According to reports, construction of a high-speed railway line from Kunming to Singapore started on April 25th. The rail linking China and South Asia will be completed in 2020, according to the plan by the Chinese government. The railway will start from Kunming, pass through Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia and Malaysia, before terminating in Singapore.
