Construction on the building tipped to be China’s tallest is now underway and will be completed by 2016, according to current estimates.

The Pingan International Financial Center in Shenzhen has already reached a dizzying 90 floors, and is over 420 meters high. Current construction is happening at an almost alarmingly fast rate of a floor every 5 days.

The final plans show that the building will be 660 meters high on completion with 118 floors.
