Starting Jan. 21st 2009, China Southern Airlines has since been offering connection service to passengers departing from Taiwan and transferring other flights at the same day in Guangzhou. Later the service will be available between Taipei and Shenzhen. Passengers can get the through airline boarding pass from Guangzhou to the next stop in Taiwan while those with checked luggage will arrive in the destination directly. With the through airline boarding pass, passengers do not need to handle boarding procedures again in the transferring stop and the transferring time is reduced to 90 minutes from 120 minutes.
