Chongqing Standardizes Guidelines for Accommodating Passengers in Case of Delayed Flights
Mar 19, 2010 By eChinacities.com

On March 15th, Chongqing Airport Group has publicized a set of bulletins at Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport that provide specific guidelines for accommodating passengers in case of flight delays and cancellations. In the bulletin, six specific service guidelines were set out: promptly inform passengers of their flight information; handle referrals to another flight and ticket refunds; provisions of snacks and food; room and lodging accommodations; other compensations for having caused delay, etc. For example, those passengers that had their flights delayed 4 hours and more are entitled to have their airlines/representatives accommodated for their stay in hotel rooms: VIP and first-class passengers will each be accommodated in single rooms; economy class passengers are accommodated two to a room.
