Chongqing Flights Begin Collecting Fuel Surcharges
Nov 17, 2009 By eChinacities.com
Chongqing started to collect flight fuel surcharges again from Nov. 14th onwards. Passengers are now required to pay 20 to 50 RMB extra per flight. Nearly 80% of Chongqing’s flights cover over 800km, requiring a 50 RMB fuel surcharge. However, this will not affect passengers too much since some flights are being offered with discounts of up to 70%.
