Chinese Tourists are at it Again! Foot Bathers Spotted in Front of the Louvre
Jul 31, 2013 By eChinacities.com

It doesn’t seem right to wrap up July without another example of Chinese tourists at their best, and this time the camera turns to the Louvre in Paris for another edition of eyebrow-raising foot bathing.

The photo, taken on July 19, created a predictable storm online with netizens rushing to criticize the hapless tourists, with the words “morals” and “manners” being thrown around like confetti.

However, some netizens stated that it’s not just Chinese tourists who are guilty of bathing their feet in public scenic spots, as these pictures prove.

Are we being too quick to condemn Chinese tourists or does the criticism simply stem from current perceptions that such behavior is typical of them? Join the debate in the comments box below.

If there's no sign clearly stating it is forbidden then there's no problem in my opinion.

Chinese tourist are a menace to societies around the world, especially to the U.S. I would throw in a couple of bucks to send them all to charm school, but unfortunately, I can't cover 1 billion people.

I was super angry when I saw it, I thought: oh my god, not bad behaving Chinese again, making us look so bad and shameful. Actually the picture doesn't tell the whole story. When I saw the other picture I felt relieved. Without the other pictures, there is like a billion foreigners and Chinese bashing on Chinese.

What do you mean "foreigners and Chinese"? The Chinese are foreigners... they are in France. The Chinese aren't eternally at the center of the universe... they just often have the mindset that they are.
