Officials from Chinese Consulate in New York have confirmed that the third victim of the Boston Marathon bombing which took place on April 15 was a Chinese graduate student at Boston University.
The student, identified as Lv Lingzi, was from Shenyang and was studying mathematics and statistics. Lv was said to be near the finish line of the race with friend Zhou Danling, who has recently woken up from a coma following the bombing but is still unable to speak.
