1. Midnight of Jan. 25: Purification and blessing in Quanfu Temple and Chengxu Taoist Temple and welcoming the New Year with bell ringing.

“Hitting the Spring Ox” on Jan. 26: People use whips to hit Oxen made of colored paper in front of ancient arches with hope of harvest and peace for the next year. 


3. Lantern Festival on Feb. 9: Dragon dance, lion dance, lanterns, riddles, and a fireworks party.
