Performances for celebrating the Chinese New Year in Tongli Town include opera performances in Tongli Square (Jan. 26-31, 9am-11am & 1pm-3pm), raising the bridal sedan in Sanqiao Bridge (daily, 9am-4pm) and welcoming the God of Wealth in Tuisi Square (Jan. 30, 9:30am-10am) with fireworks as well as dragon and lion dances in Tongli Square and other main tourism sites. (Jan. 26-31, 9am-11am & 1:30pm-4:30pm).
