Chinese Basketball Star Posts Weibo Photo of Hair in KFC Burger
Jun 08, 2013 By eChinacities.com

Guangdong Southern Tigers star Yi Jianlian posted a photo on Weibo at 7:54 on June 7 that showed what looked like human hair inside a KFC burger.

What a top athlete such as himself was doing at a junk-food establishment is still a mystery, though the photo was quickly reposted with many netizens commenting that they’ve also experienced the same.

KFC responded to the incident after around four hours, and claimed that the hair wasn’t actually human but was a strand of wool yarn from some oven gloves. Yi was granted a free meal and KFC apologized to everyone online.

Consumers still aren’t satisfied with the excuse however, though Yi himself, presumably satisfied with his free food, has not commented further.
