China’s First Modern Insect Museum Opens for Free in Chengdu

Starting from June 1st, China’s first modernized entomological museum, Chengdu Huaxi Entomic Museum, opens to the public for free. The museum’s collection contains specimens of all types of butterflies and rare insects found in Sichuan, as well as 1,700 types of butterflies from China. It is regarded as the richest collection of insect specimens in China in the world entomological research field.
