On May 1st, “Lvshun Outer Space Plant World” (旅顺太空植物王国), the first exhibition hall dedicated to showcasing plants grown in outer space has opened in Dalian, Liaoning Province. According to reports, the exhibition hall displays plants whose seeds were planted in outer space by the Shenzhou Spaceship, the first spacecraft developed and launched by China. What’s striking about these plants is that their shape and colour mutated in outer space, hence giving them a very distinct appearance and character.

Opening hours: 9:30 - 16:40
