China announced plans on September 10 to launch a second space laboratory within two years.
The space lab will be named Tiangong-2 and will later be joined by cargo spaceships Shenzhou-11 and Tianzhou-1 which will dock at the space station.
The announcements were made during the Association of Space Explorers 27th annual meeting, which took place in Beijing for the first time this year. Over 100 astronauts from 18 different countries attended the meeting.

wow, china really is going for it.. and making it on teir own, both the usa a nd Russia have combines space exploration.. it is very impressive
