Following the end of the G20 summit in Brisbane, Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbot has announced that China will host the G20 talks in 2016.

Chinese President Xi has said that “he is confident that China would contribute to the mechanism of G20”, according to CCTV.

The G20 summit has no permanently positioned members, as the chair rotates and is selected from a different region each year.
