China has 25 Brands in World’s Top 500

The 2013 version of a list compiled by World Brand Lab depicting the top 500 brands in world has been released. Google finished first once again followed by Apple and Amazon in seco nd and third respectively.

China sees out 2013 with 25 brands in the top 500 and 4 brands in the top 100. CCTV was ranked as the highest Chinese brand at number 53, followed by National Grid (67), Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (79) and China Mobile (83). Xinhua News Agency and China Railway made the list for the first time.

The evaluation for the top brands in the world is based on brand influence, brand pioneering in the marketplace, ability to obtain profits, market share index, brand loyalty and global leadership
