China Zhengkai (Zhengzhou-Faifeng 郑州-开封) International Marathon, the only international sports event held in Henan province, will kick off on March 28th. It is also the only international full marathon event in mid-western China. The race is organized by Chinese Athletic Association, Sports Bureau of Henan Province, municipal government of Zhengzhou, and municipal government of Kaifeng. This is the third time that the annual event is held and registered participants have risen to 16,800 people this year, from 26 different countries and regions.
