The National Internet Informational Office recently shut down 35 “dishonest,” dating sites. This news comes after 65 dating sites were shut down in February of this year in an investigation by the same office because of obscene content and false registration. The sites that were shut down in this round of crackdowns also had a number of serious violations. The websites had failed to legally register and were found guilty of projecting false information, and disseminating pornographic images and vulgar information.
