From March 28th to October 30th, China Eastern Airlines is to begin executing new plans for a brand new flight operation season. When compared with its previous operation season, China Eastern has plans to increase flights to Qingdao.

Increase of flight density from Qingdao is particularly noticeable. Flights from Qingdao to Shanghai have been increased to 12 flights daily and Qingdao – Hong Kong flights have been reinstated to four flights weekly; Qingdao – Nanjing – Singapore flights are three times each week; while Qingdao – Xi'an is a new flight route with six flights per week. Starting May 1st, China Eastern is to begin Qingdao – Taiyuan – Lanzhou flights, three times weekly. There are no significant changes with other flight routes from Qingdao.

Flights for Yantai remain mostly unchanged. Flights from Yantai to Seoul, Osaka, Beijing, Shanghai, and Weihai to Shanghai are to remain as before; new flight routes are Yantai to Nanjing, Dalian, and Mudanjiang (three times weekly).
