Changsha’s Yuelu Lantern Festival Kicks Off

The 10th Yuelu Spring Greeting Lantern Festival began on January 11th at the "Splendid Xiaoxiang (Hunan)" cultural and creative industry park in Changsha. Using all sorts of colored craft lanterns, the festival will be a vivid demonstration of the features of Zigong (a city in Sichuan, the originator of the Chinese Lantern Festival) lanterns. The lantern festival will last until March 3rd, 2011. In the meantime, performances, the temple fair, the trade show and food cultural festival will be held.
