Changsha-Nanchang High Speed Train Opens September 16- D Trains Discontinued

From September 16 onwards, the Changsha-Nanchang section of the Shanghai-Kunming high speed railway line will officially be operating. Second class seats are 157 RMB, first class seats are 264.5 RMB and the premier class seats are 299 RMB. The journey from Changsha to Nanchang will now be reduced to approximately 90 minutes down from 3 and a half hours.

There will be four daily departures; service G1602 will depart from Changsha South station at 10:45, arriving at 12:33 at Nanchang West station; service G1604 will depart from Changsha South at 13:40, arriving at Nanchang West at 15:21; service G1606 will depart at 17:35, arriving at Nanchang West at 19:09; and service G1608 will depart from Changsha South at 19:30, arriving at 21:04.

Meanwhile the previous D train service will be discontinued.
