Changchun West Station will open for trial operations on July 1st 2012. The new station will dramatically shorten travel time between Changchun and its surrounding areas. The inter-city high-speed rail operating from the new station, will make it possible to reach Beijing in 3.5 hours, Dalian in 2.5 hours and Harbin and Shenyang in just 50 minutes.
