Changchun Travel Tips

Changchun is said to be at its best either in late summer, during the bi-annual Changchun China Film Festival, or in winter when the Changchun Jingyuetan Ice & Snow Festival is hosted here. However many of the attractions are open throughout the year and the parks particularly are beautiful year round: themed zones have been created to take advantage of seasonal changes ensuring there's always an area of outstanding beauty to enjoy.

Only in the middle of summer is it possible to get by without sweaters and a heavy coat in your luggage. In the winter, prepare for extremely cold weather, and if you're planning to climb mountains or explore wilder areas of the parks, remember to pack appropriate shoes.
