Changchun Longjia International Airport (CGQ) opened in September 2005 around 28 east of central Changchun. International airlines operate services to Seoul, South Korea, Vladivostok, Russia, and Tokyo, and the domestic airlines fly to numerous cities in China, including Beijing (1.5 hrs), Shanghai (2.5 hrs), Chengdu (4 hrs), Dalian (1 hr), and Shenzhen (4 hrs).

A taxi to the airport from the center of the city costs around 100 RMB. Shuttle buses operated by CAAC run between the Quan'an Guangchang in the center of the city and the airport.
