New canal buses are in operation now with routes from Zhongda Wharf to Fangcun Wharf. The first layer of canal bus is used as ferry for the first time and second and third layer decks can be used for sightseeing.
RMB 5/person one-way trip for sightseeing layers and RMB 10/person double-way trip for sightseeing layers (no discounts for the elderly who take the bus on the second floor). From Jan. 15 to 25th 2009, people can enjoy 50% discounts for double-way trip. There are about 50 seats and toilets onboard as well as two 25-inch LCD. Visitors on sightseeing layers can go to the third layer deck of the canal bus.
