British rock band Third Cortez will perform at the Wave Livehouse underneath the Carcassonne board game bar (卡卡城桌游吧) in Suzhou on October 4. They formed in Manchester, then spent six months in a Brooklyn basement, writing and recording with other artists on the New York DIY scene. Their return to London - bringing with them a bigger, more ambitious sound - began with a residency at the historic Troubadour Club and lasted throughout 2011. During this time the boys also moved into a warehouse in Limehouse, East London, complete with a self-built recording studio. That's where they recorded and produced their own debut EP, “The Flipside”. Come join singer Jack Buckett and his rocking band mates in Suzhou this October.
