British Department Store Franchise Marks & Spencer Opens at Yuyuan Garden in Shanghai

Marks & Spencer has recently revealed their second franchise store in mainland China. The newly opened department store is situated in Shanghai's major attraction and commercial hub – Yuyuan Garden – which attracts over 1 million visitors each week. After an extensive renovation of the surrounding transportation and infrastructure, Yuyuan Garden has become a major commercial hub attracting opportunistic multinational retailers and international brands to the area.

The store is strategically located near the Puxi section of the 2010 Shanghai World Expo Park and has two floors with a total area of 1,600 square meters; it will mainly cater to upscale shoppers with quality selections of women's, men's, children's clothing and undergarments.
